Rockingham Recreational trail

We hiked 5 miles; Hooksett Rd in Auburn to Billy's Sports Bar in Manchester
Mostly gravel and/or hardnd sand, some paved sections

Started at 9am on a multi use trail I found, runs from Manchester to Great Bay near Portsmouth. Thinking rain the wife dropped me and the dog in Raymond and told us to walk home. Thought it was supposed to rain Weather.com?? I took Zelda along waiting for a damp slog but we had a nice walk despite the warm temperatures. Felt like backdoor access along familiar routes, walked under 93 and behind some local restaurants.

Forgot to bring something along for Zelda's water, ended up using a Starbucks cup. The first two stops she drank a good amount but at that second stop I poured what was left on/around her head and back to cool her off. Princess Zelda does not like that apparently, stopped drinking water the rest of our journey for fear of another impromptu shower. So I called the wife when I got to Billys, maybe like 11am. 5 miles is better then the 2/3 she gets Mon/Wed/Fri, hopefully she'll be ready for Mountains in the fall.

Note: Another great LOCAL snowshoe trail - well maintained throughout.

No Peter, I stay.

A few small changes... If you can read this you can read the address bar at the top of your browser. You'll notice our URL changed, felt it was a natural move - no big deal. Calm down. Also I upgraded the photo section to your right --->, something like 300 + photos there now, enjoy. Trying to get out on the trails the weekend after Easter if the weather is good!
